It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to our digital home. We have recently concluded a monumental process of defining our vision for 2024–2028—a journey that, by God’s Grace, has resulted in a robust roadmap capturing our highest ideals and aspirations for the next five years.
At NGHS, our core mandate remains centered on academic excellence and the holistic development of the girl child. As we interpret and implement the national curriculum, our current focus—“Building a strong and viable resource capacity for effective service delivery, transition to the new CBE curriculum & Sustainable Development”—perfectly aligns with our duty to provide quality education.

This mission implores us to engage in deliberate, continuous planning. Our latest initiative was born from the need to realign our school with the evolving education sector, most notably the transition from the 8-4-4 system to the Competency-Based Education (CBE) framework.
We have painstakingly reviewed our past successes and challenges to ensure we are putting the right mechanisms in place for this new era. I am confident that with our clear strategic pillars and comprehensive resource management, Nyamira Girls High School is on a successful and sustainable trajectory.
